AIED conducts ROP training on Maxima Electronic Measuring System
Automotive and Industrial Equipment Division have successfully conducted a 2 day training and inspection programme on Maxima Electronic Measuring System EMSIII for 22 Engineers from Royal Oman Police – Traffic Department at their Chassis Inspection Facility in Seeb. During the training session, the attendees were explained the technical details of the system and trained on the operating procedures and online report management.
The Maxima EMS III system is used for measuring the chassis dimensions of the vehicles to compare with the manufacturer’s specifications after any accident or collision to ascertain the accuracy of the repair job, and the system’s database contains specifications of all the models of vehicles, which is updated periodically to include new models.
Due to road safety concerns, ROP have made it mandatory for any Automotive Repair workshop applying for A-Grade certification to have this type of electronic measuring equipment installed in their facility.
AIED now have in their portfolio the complete set of equipment prescribed and approved by ROP for A-Grade certification of automotive workshops.
